Beyond Meat expands sparkling protein drink line with four new flavors
Beyond Meat has expanded its Beyond Immerse sparkling protein drink range with four new flavors, following what the company described as strong early consumer response to the line’s initial launch.
• Beyond Meat has launched four new limited-time flavors of its Beyond Immerse sparkling protein drink: Cherry Berry, Strawberry Lemonade, Piña Colada, and Cucumber Grapefruit.
• The beverages are available in 10g and 20g protein options, each containing 7g of fiber, electrolytes, and antioxidant vitamin C.
• The expansion builds on early consumer response and continues Beyond Meat’s diversification beyond plant-based meat into functional beverages.
The new additions – Cherry Berry, Strawberry Lemonade, Piña Colada, and Cucumber Grapefruit – are available for a limited time exclusively through the company’s Beyond Test Kitchen platform. They join existing flavors Peach Mango, Lemon Lime, and Orange Tangerine.
The move marks a continued push by the plant-based meat company into functional beverages, positioning Beyond Immerse as a plant-based protein drink that combines protein, fiber, antioxidants, and electrolytes in a sparkling format.
“Beyond Immerse represents a meaningful next chapter for our brand as we expand beyond center-of-the-plate protein,” said Ethan Brown, founder and CEO of Beyond Meat. “We challenged ourselves to redefine the protein drink, designing a beverage that immerses the body not only in protein but more broadly in the remarkable power of plants.”
Each flavor is available in two variants: a 10g protein option with 7g of fiber and 60 calories, and a 20g protein version containing 7g of fiber and 100 calories.
The drinks are formulated with pea protein and tapioca-derived fiber, and contain added electrolytes and antioxidant vitamin C. Beyond Meat stated that the beverages are non-GMO and free from sugar alcohols.
Protein beverages have become an increasingly competitive segment, driven by demand for convenient nutrition formats that support muscle health and digestive wellness. By incorporating 7g of fiber per serving, Beyond Immerse differentiates itself from many traditional protein drinks that focus solely on protein content.
The launch also reflects Beyond Meat’s broader diversification strategy as it seeks growth opportunities beyond refrigerated plant-based meat products. The Beyond Test Kitchen platform has served as a direct-to-consumer channel for limited releases and product experimentation.
Beyond Immerse is currently available exclusively online for a limited time, with variety packs now also offered.
