KRÖNER-STÄRKE showcases new clean-label starches, flours, and texturized wheat at Fi Europe 2025

December 2, 2025

KRÖNER-STÄRKE is introducing its newest clean-label ingredient solutions at Fi Europe 2025, with a portfolio spanning gluten-free pregelatinized starches, gluten-free flours, and an expanded range of texturized wheat products for plant-based and hybrid applications. The event, held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 2-4 December, brings together ingredient suppliers and food and beverage manufacturers exploring next-generation technologies that combine performance with natural, label-friendly formulations.

Known for its natural starches, flours, and texturized products, KRÖNER-STÄRKE said it aimed to show how its ingredients support functionality, stability, and product quality across categories including bakery, snacks, sauces, and plant-based foods.

The company’s gluten-free pregelatinized starches – derived from wheat starch, corn, and waxy corn – offer viscosity control, reliable thickening, and emulsion stability. According to KRÖNER-STÄRKE, these starches enhance water absorption, increase dough yield, extend shelf life, and deliver a clean taste profile. They can serve as clean-label alternatives to modified starches in applications such as baked goods, fillings, sauces, dressings, confectionery, and dairy desserts.

The company will also feature gluten-free pregelatinized flours made from corn and rice. These flours support consistent viscosity development, improve softness, and help maintain freshness in a wide range of products. Their stabilizing properties make them suitable for long-life bakery goods, breads, cookies, sponge cakes, sauces, creams, and snacks.

With plant-based and hybrid proteins continuing to gain traction, KRÖNER-STÄRKE will present its expanding texturized wheat range. Designed to offer neutral taste, high protein content, and strong structural integrity, the products can be used to create meat alternatives and protein-enriched foods. Available in fine fibers, medium fibers, granules, and strips, the ingredients allow manufacturers to tailor textures from tender bite-sized pieces to pulled formats and hearty stew-style components. The entire range is clean-label, additive-free, available in organic versions, and complemented by pea-based options. Custom formulations can also be developed to meet specific texture or viscosity requirements.

All ingredients on display are globally available and supported by technical documentation. KRÖNER-STÄRKE will showcase samples throughout the show and offer post-event tasting sessions and application trials for interested manufacturers.

As a long-standing European producer of natural starches, flours, and texturized ingredients, KRÖNER-STÄRKE combines high-quality raw materials with technical expertise and scalable production capacity. The company continues to focus on clean-label development, producing its ingredients with untreated spring water and without chemical additives or micro-biocides.

Attendees can visit KRÖNER-STÄRKE at Stand #40D115 to learn more about the company’s full ingredient portfolio and discuss application needs with the technical team.
