Myprotein expands Mars partnership with new impact whey protein launch

March 20, 2026

Myprotein is expanding its partnership with Mars Wrigley with the launch of a new Mars-flavored version of its bestselling Impact Whey Protein, as the sports nutrition brand continues to push further into products that blend performance credentials with familiar confectionery tastes.

Myprotein is launching a Mars-flavored version of its Impact Whey Protein on March 24, 2026, extending its partnership with Mars Wrigley.
The product delivers 20g of whey protein per serving and combines chocolate, caramel and malt flavors.
It will be available in 15-serving packs priced at £16.99 (US$22.95) and 31-serving packs at £30.99 (US$41.86), with grocery rollout planned for 2026.

The new product, Mars Impact Whey Protein, will go on sale from March 24, 2026, through Myprotein’s website and is also set to roll out in major grocery stores later this year, according to the company. It follows the launch of Snickers-flavored protein products in November and marks the latest extension of a collaboration aimed at bringing well-known candy brands into the sports nutrition category.

Myprotein, which describes itself as the number one sports nutrition brand in the UK and Europe, said the latest launch combines its core whey protein formula with the chocolate, caramel and malt flavor profile associated with Mars. Each serving contains 20 grams of whey protein, along with 120 calories, while the formula is positioned as low in fat and sugar.

Neil Mistry, CEO of THG Nutrition, said the new launch reflects changing expectations among consumers shopping the category. “Through our continued partnership with Mars Wrigley, we’re bringing together best-in-class sports nutrition with some of the most recognisable flavours in the world. This extension of the MARS range reflects a clear shift in the category, where performance and enjoyment are no longer mutually exclusive. Consumers expect products that deliver on both, and this range does exactly that.

“At Myprotein, our focus is on driving innovation that broadens the appeal of sports nutrition, and partnerships like this allow us to reach new audiences while continuing to serve our core customer.

“This launch is another step forward in how we evolve the category and build towards what’s next in our product pipeline.”

The company is launching the product in two pack sizes. A 15-serving format will retail at £16.99 (US$22.95), while a 31-serving pack will be priced at £30.99 (US$41.86).

Mars Wrigley said the partnership with Myprotein gives it a way to introduce more shoppers to branded protein products by pairing one of its best-known confectionery names with an established sports nutrition retailer.

Kerry Cavanaugh, General Manager for Mars Drinks and Treats, added: “Myprotein is the perfect partner for us to continue to introduce more shoppers to our range of Mars branded protein products. The MARS brand is one of our most iconic, and Myprotein is arguably the most reputable retailer in the UK for protein products. Through the familiarity of both brands, and the trusted taste of MARS, we are looking forward to not only seeing this roll out online, but also throughout major grocery stores in 2026 where it will sit alongside our range of high protein low sugar bars!”

The product is certified by both Informed Choice and Informed Protein, verifying quality, purity and protein content. The formula is designed to support muscle growth and maintenance while remaining low in fat and sugar.

Impact Whey Protein has been part of Myprotein’s range for more than 20 years and is widely used by consumers looking to support performance and recovery. The Mars-flavored version will be available from 24 March 24 via myprotein.com.
