Standing Ovation partners with Tetra Pak to advance industrial production of alternative caseins

Standing Ovation, a French biotechnology company specializing in precision fermentation for dairy proteins, has announced a strategic partnership with Tetra Pak to advance the industrialization of its alternative caseins. The collaboration, revealed on 28 April 2025, focuses on optimizing separation and purification processes to scale the production of Standing Ovation’s flagship product, Advanced Casein.

Following its earlier agreement with Ajinomoto Foods Europe, Standing Ovation continues to build its industrial strategy by teaming with Tetra Pak, a global leader in food processing and packaging solutions. The partnership is designed to strengthen Standing Ovation’s downstream processing operations, supply tailored equipment and turnkey solutions, and support the design and construction of pilot and industrial-scale production facilities.

Standing Ovation brings its patented technology and expertise in animal-free dairy proteins to the collaboration, while Tetra Pak contributes its engineering capabilities and commitment to supporting innovation in the new food sector. The partnership reflects Tetra Pak’s broader strategy to help customers develop sustainable solutions in food processing as part of its mission to protect food, people, and the planet.
