January 30, 2023

The second edition of Protein Production Technology International, the world's only magazine dedicated entirely to scaling up and commercializing alternative proteins, has been published by the organizer of The Future of Protein Production Summit. You can read the latest edition here.

Within this +100-page January/February 2023 edition, you will find numerous features looking at how we overcome some of the industry's biggest challenges, with articles focusing on innovators in the cultured meat value chain, including Bright Biotech, Roslin Technologies, Gelatex, Solar Foods and Solar Biotech. Another article focuses on automation in alternative foods processing and features independently written interviews with experts at companies such as Handtmann, Coperion, Krohne and NIRAS. The cover story on finding (and retaining) the industry's future talent is a mammoth 13-pager and features interviewees such as Robert Boer at Blue Horizon, Roman Lauš at Mewery, Jemima Smither at Metric Search, Mike Meyrick at Meyrick Consulting, and Alex Coghlan at HC Group. The issue's market focus showcases the latest in beef/lamb substitutes and has interviews with Paul Bevan at Magic Valley, Nesli Sozer at VTT and Christoph Mayr at Mirai Foods.

You can also read the expert opinions of regular columnists, Hannah Lester (Amgen Consulting), Laine Clark (The Good Food Institute), David Ziskind (Black & Veatch), food futurist Tony Hunter and Stephanie Jaczniakowska-McGirr (ProVeg International), plus there's a guest appearance from Ayan Dutta at EFF Ventures.

Plus, don't forget our exclusive interviews with Didier Toubia, the CEO & Co-founder of Israel's Aleph Farms and Nicoleta Pasecinic, the Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager at consultancy Pen + Tec.

And make a note in your diaries: the third edition, April/May 2023, is published on 26 April 2023!
